What is Neuroqueer Coaching?
Neuroqueer Coaching & Consulting: Where Neurodiversity Meets Queer Identity—With Care, Clarity, and Courage
Neuroqueer
Coaching and Consulting
Practical, trauma-informed support for neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ individuals—focused on self-acceptance, empowerment, and building a life that honours who you truly are.
Important: This is not traditional talking therapy. While we may explore your past when it helps make sense of the present, our focus is firmly on your future—building practical skills, self-acceptance, and a life that honours who you truly are.
Neurodivergent and queer identities are not flaws to be fixed—they are natural, beautiful expressions of human diversity. Whether you’re navigating ADHD, autism (including Asperger’s or AuDHD), dyslexia, high sensitivity, or any part of the LGBTQIA+ spectrum—gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, non-binary, asexual, queer, polyamorous, or questioning—you belong here.
This service is designed for those who’ve often felt misunderstood by mainstream support systems. It’s built on the belief that difference is not deficiency, and that healing happens not through conformity, but through authentic self-expression, safety, and practical empowerment.
A Space Just for You
Coaching and consulting with me offers a rare kind of space: warm, professional, and deeply accepting. It’s a place where you can drop the mask—where you don’t have to explain or justify your way of being. You’ll be met with curiosity, not judgment; with care, not correction.
We work at your pace, in your communication style, and with full respect for your history, culture, language, and identity. If you’ve experienced marginalisation, migration, trauma, or systemic exclusion, this work acknowledges those realities—not as side notes, but as central to your story.
How I Work:
Practical, Proactive, and Heart-Centred
My approach blends compassion with action. Rather than only exploring problems, we co-create a “wellbeing toolkit”—a set of real, usable strategies you can draw on between sessions to feel more grounded, clear, and resilient.
Together, we might explore grounding techniques, breath awareness, values clarification, body-based practices, creative expression, boundary-setting, communication skills, or small, sustainable habit experiments. Everything is offered—not imposed—and always adapts to your needs and readiness.
Important: My approach is solution-oriented, person-centred, holistic, trauma-informed, emotion-focused, and creatively flexible. I draw from multiple frameworks—never rigidly tied to one—because what matters is what helps you.
Our Four-Stage Journey
Stage 1: Mapping & Understanding
We begin by carefully building a picture of your life—your identity, relationships, cultural context, neurotype, and the systems you move through. We look at what has protected you, what no longer serves you, and what matters most right now. Psychoeducation is woven throughout, so your experiences feel understandable, not shameful.
Stage 2: Safety & Stabilisation
When the nervous system is on high alert, growth is hard. So we prioritise steadiness. Using grounding, breathwork, visualisation, and containment strategies, we help you feel safer in your body and more in control of your emotional landscape—making both sessions and daily life more manageable.
Stage 3: Emotion Regulation & Patterns
Here, we gently explore emotions, relational dynamics, and habitual patterns—whether it’s overworking, avoidance, people-pleasing, or coping through food, shopping, substances, or distraction. Each week, you’ll be invited to try small, optional experiments in real life, always at your pace, to expand your sense of choice and agency.
Stage 4: Integration & Forward Movement
We consolidate your growth—strengthening self-esteem, clarifying values, and deepening connection with yourself and others. Creativity becomes a resource for healing. The goal is lasting change: a truer, freer version of you, equipped with tools to navigate future challenges with confidence.

Who This Is For
You might be:
- Neurodivergent (ADHD, autism, AuDHD, dyslexia, high sensitivity, etc.)
- LGBTQIA+ (trans, non-binary, queer, asexual, polyamorous, questioning, etc.)
- Navigating identity, belonging, or cross-cultural experiences
- Healing from shame, masking, or systemic exclusion
- Ready to move beyond survival into thriving
This work is especially valuable if you’ve felt “too much” or “not enough” in other spaces—or if traditional therapy left you feeling pathologised rather than empowered.
Imagine a Different Way Forward
What if you could live with fewer internal battles? What if your neurotype and identity weren’t obstacles—but sources of strength? This work isn’t about erasing your past, but using its wisdom to shape a more peaceful, empowered present.
By the end of our time together, my hope is that you feel stronger, clearer, and deeply at home in yourself—carrying forward a toolkit that supports your wellbeing long after our sessions end.
Important: Coaching and consulting is not a substitute for medical or psychiatric care.
